OBJECTIVE:

Why does this happen:
Inheritance factors, natural or acquired. The loss of the ozone layer, global warming, environmental pollution, sun exposure and smoking directly, quickly and negatively influence the delicate skin of the face, but especially on the thinner skin of the human body: the skin and soft tissues of the eyelids.

SURGERY:

Approach: the upper eyelids are always through the skin and the lower eyelids, through the skin or the conjunctiva (trans-conjunctival), in which case it does not require suture or visible scar. This surgery is ambulatory.

TYPE OF ANESTHESIA:

Local, with or without sedation.

HOW LONG MUST THE PATIENT STAY IN CALI?

A week.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Avoid smoking and the sun’s UV rays for at least three months. Patients older than 40 years old must follow particular recommendations that help maintain eye lubrication.
